The 4th of July has come and gone and hot days and sunshine are in full swing. However, typically when we welcome this change of the season, we also have to unhappily accept that this also means more pests. While it is always nice to open those windows and doors and let the fresh air in, we also have to be careful about the potential unwelcome guests that tend to find their way inside as well. Carpenter Ants are one of the most popular pests we receive service requests for. These pesky little insects are magnets to food and open containers. Search for any tears in window screens, rotting wood that can be traveled through, or any other signs inside or outside of your home that could allow these pests indoors and the chance to infest your space.
